Announcing the 'Family Food Series-Season 2' Event

Print Friendly and PDF
I hope you all remember my earlier 'Family Food Friday -Season 1' series where the theme was based on breakfast recipes. When I had started this form of event, I was'nt expecting it to be so well received. My cousins in fact sent multiple entries while our blogger friends and readers supported and appreciated with their encouraging comments. I also received several suggestions from friends to re start this series again. The second season is different- as I have chosen a new theme.
One reason why I chose breakfast as the theme earlier is because it is the favorite meal of the day for me and not just that it also offers ample choice for the participants to prepare. After breakfast , the next favorite meal time for me is snacks or chaats in the evening. At times I skip dinner after heavy snacking in the evening and this is the same with my cousins and I guess for many of you. This is why , I chose the theme for this series as "Savory Snacks/Appetizers/Chaats".As this is the sequel of my 'Family Food Friday-Season 1' series,I would like to name this series with a minor change as 'Family Food-Tasty Thursdays(FFTT)'.So,I would post the entries of the event every thursday.I hope this series interests you as much as the previous one . Am expecting nice and unique recipes in the event so stay tuned!!!

Coming to the event, there are no hard rules as the entries are from my family members and I take the responsibility of publishing them in my blog. Still I want to just brief my family members about the general rules for the event.
  1. Choose a different and unique kind of recipe which is your favorite and make sure that I have not blogged about it before as I do not want my viewers to get to see the same recipe featured again. As the theme I have chosen this time is SAVORY SNACKS/APPETIZERS/CHAATS,try to make different and unique snacks and send me.
  2. A neatly written precise recipe.
  3. A neat photograph of the dish.
  4. Your description regarding the recipe, how ever it is optional.
  5. Send the recipe and pictures of the recipe to my email ID.As you all know it,I am not mentioning it here.
  6. There is no dead line for the submission of recipe as I am planning to post it every week.So this is truly first come-first serve basis, but please send the entries soon.
Note: This event is limited to my family members only.

For a change, this time even I would try to post only snack/chaat recipes through out the series. So,you will see most of the recipes in my blog would be snacks or chaats for few weeks. If you are a snack/chaat lover like me this series will definitely drool you over yummy recipes.Stay tuned!!
